Tutoring paper A

In preparation of your exam EQETools now offers tutoring on taking paper A chemistry.

How it works?

EQE Tools offers a unique 2-step approach for the correction of paper A.

In a first step candidates send an annotated version of the exam paper indicating what they consider critical elements of the client's letter. This allows EQE Tools to see the thought process behind the later filed solution to the paper. Candidates should highlight the key concept behind the invention(s), essential features, optional features, problems, technical effects and any other things they may notice. Annotations can be made in handwriting or even by using color markers. Before continuing to the actual drafting of the paper EQE Tools will provide feedback on the annotated copy.

Then, in a second step candidates draft their solution to the paper which will then be corrected and provided with further feedback. Initially all will be done via e-mail, but if desired by the candidate, further support a call (preferably via Skype) is possible. Within the reasonable there is no restriction in the amount of support on any specific paper.

This unique two-step approach allows the tutor to better understand the thought process of the candidate and provides the ability to give more focussed feedback and/or recommendations. It is highly recommended for candidates who do not yet have a lot of experience in drafting papers A.

Candidates who only want to have their paper corrected are also welcome of course.

Which papers can be submitted?

Currently tutoring is offered for the chemistry papers A of 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

What about the timing?

Typically feedback will be provided within 2 - 3 weeks after receipt of the solution. Exceptionally it may take longer, but this will be clearly communicated and agreed upon with the candidate. Please note that capacity for correction of papers is not unimited, please check in advance!

Sounds good! So is this all for free?

Sorry, this service is not offered entirely for free. The fee for correction of each paper A using the 2-step approach will be 50 Euro. Candidates only seeking correction (and feedback) of a past paper pay 40 Euro. Payment is due after receipt of the feedback by the candidate. Payment details will be provided seperately.
